CREATING AN EASTER BUNNY WITH LAYERING CIRCLE DIES AND MORE!

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, March 29, 2021

Today's card I am sharing has been created during my Monday morning Facebook Live demonstration and includes a very fun technique to create this cute little bunny embellishment on my card!

I just love making cute projects and Easter is the perfect time for doing just that.  I have two young Daughters, Florence and Emily who just adore everything that Easter means, from the traditional story to the giving of gifts, spending time with our wonderful family and of course eating lots of chocolate!

I have made these cards to give to them on Easter Sunday along with some sweet treats before our annual Easter egg hunt in the garden.  I think they will just love the little bunny and the "Hoppy" sentiment"!

To create the bunny, I have used the following items:
The trick with putting this bunny together is to use Mini Glue Dots.  They are less messy and gives you great depth between your layers without it being too bulky.  I have added the tail using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to raise a little.

I have used the Playful Alphabet Dies to create the word "Hoppy" and rather than using the letters that are cut from the dies, I have used the piece that I have cut the letters from.  Check out the tutorial video for a handy technique to keep those letters in place!

The word "Easter" comes from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set that I have cut from one of the larger sentiments.

I love the extra details on this card, from the stamped label behind the sentiment, the little die-cut flowers with Basic Rhinestone Centres and the addition of the Linen Thread Bow.

To personalise my card for the girls, I have used the Family Party Stamp Set and stamped in the colours from the front of the card.

The bunny ears have been created with the Daisy Punch for the white ears, and the Medium Daisy Punch for the Petal Pink ears.

As I mentioned earlier I have created this card during a recent Facebook Live Demonstration which is available to watch on my Youtube channel.  Click the image below and don't forget to subscribe!
