CARROT STYLE EASTER TREAT HOLDER AND MATCHIGN CARD DESIGN

With the Easter celebration fast approaching, it's time to start about how you're going to share your gifts and of course sending a handmade card to your loved ones. 

Today I am sharing a cute carrot style treat box and matching card design that I have created with the Springtime Joy Stamp Set and some super bright colours!

There is even a video for you to watch to show you how I made these items. 

Starting with the carroy style treat box, I hadn't made these for a while but they really are SO easy to put together and are perfect for sharing a few sweet treats.  My daughter will be sharing these with her Teachers at school next week. 

For the carror style Easter treat holder, I have used a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock measuring 4" x 6".  There is no scoring or cutting involved, just a little bit of Tear and Tape and a little bit of decoration.  For my decoration I have used one of the Forever Flourishing Dies cut from Granny Apple Green Cardstock, layered together and the handy Double Oval Punch.  

I have kept with the same colour theme for my card, and added a trio-aperture layer that I have created using the Layering Circle Dies.  

My little animal images come from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set and I have coloured them with a selection of Stampin' Blends Pens and cut around with my Paper Snips Scissors.  

I have layered the animals inside the circle apertures with Stampin' Dimensionals for added depth and finished with a heat-embossed sentiment using White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Cardstock.  

I love how cute this little project is and how well those two colours work together.  I would never normally put them together but for this project they are just fab!
