Today I am sharing a brand new bundle of products that have stolen my creative heart this week. Whenever I get a new stamp set that needs to have colour added to it, I find the best thing to get those creative ideas flowing is to stamp it with black ink and add colour gradually. I felt quite overwhelmed with the chicken images initially and wasn't sure whether to try and colour them so they look realistic, or go completely the opposite direction. After adding just a little bit of colour to certain parts of the images, I quite liked the way the images were coming to life so decided to create a monochrome style card!
I have used a layer of the TRUE LOVE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER for my background layer and added a simple circle shape that I have cut using the STITCHED SHAPES DIES. I love the way that just adding the small colour details makes the images really pop!
The sentiment has been die cut using the coordinating BIRTHDAY CHICK DIES and I have layered 2 together before attaching to my card front.
Of course I have added some extra details to the inside of the card and I just had to stamp the little chicken again as it really is just so cute! I have added some more layers and another one of the fun sentiments.
