INK STAMP SHARE FEBRUARY SHOWCASE BLOG HOP

Today I am taking part in the first Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop in February which is all about showcasing anything we are working on! If you are following today's hop, you would have arrived at me via TRICIA BUTTS, wasn't her project just fab?!

For February I am running the #februarycreativepromptchallenge which has a different prompt for each day to add into your crafting. Today's prompt is "hearts" so here is my card design with a string of rainbow hearts!

Starting with a slimline card base, and some monochrome card layers that I have tied some black and white bakers twine around, I have added a string of die-cut hearts in a selection of rainbow colours and added them to my card with STAMPIN' DIMENSIONALS to raise. Whilst these aren't the traditional colours of the rainbow, I think they look gorgeous together!

The hearts have been die-cut from the STITCHED BE MINE DIES in the following colours:

I wanted to keep the card design super simple, so I have added a heat embossed sentiment from the PEACEFUL MOMENTS STAMP SET that I have fussy cut around with my PAPER SNIPS before adding to the card.

To finish, I have added some MATTE BLACK DOTS embellishments!
