Hello and welcome to my blog today,
TODAY I AM SHARING A CARD DESIGN FOR DAY 7 OF THE #FEBRUARYCREATIVEPROMPTCHALLENGE WHICH IS ALL ABOUT HEAT EMBOSSING!
I am a HUGE fan of adding heat embossing to my cards and my go-to style is using WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER on BASIC BLACK CARDSTOCK which really makes sentiments pop and looks fab with most, if not all colour combinations.
There is quite a bit going on with this card; starting with a card base cut from COASTAL CABANA CARDSTOCK, I have added a layer of TRUE LOVE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.
I have stamped, coloured and cut out one of the images from the HEY GIRLFRIEND STAMP SET and added to a square of BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK that I have doodled around the edge with a BASIC BLACK STAMPIN' WRITE MARKER PEN.
For some added colour, I have added some flowers that I have cut from the FREE FLOWER AND FIELD DESIGNER SERIES PAPERS using the SMALL BLOOM PUNCH. For the centres, I have coloured some of the large FROSTED AND CLEAR EPOXY DROPLETS using BASIC BLACK STAMPIN' BLENDS PENS.
The sentiments come from the PRETTY PERENNIALS STAMP SET which is perfect for a number of occasions!
