DARLING DONKEYS SLIMLINE CARD AND GIFT BAG | WITH FREE TUTORIAL

 Today I am sharing a matching slimline card and gift bag that I have put together using some of my favourite products from this year's Sale-a-Bration Promotion. 

I have used the Flower and Field Designer Series Papers with the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set which are both available for FREE until the end of February with a £45 order.  How fab is that?!!

Slimline cards are super popular right now and they are a great alternative to the standard size cards that we tend to make.  

For the card, I have used a card base cut from Basic Black Cardstock and added some layers of DSP and Basic White Cardstock.  To cut the circles in my Basic White Cardstock layer, I have used a 2" Circle Punch and added to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

The Darling Donkeys have been stamped, coloured and fussy cut out with my Paper Snips Scissors and added to the card so they are half in / half out of the circles. 

To finish, I have added some sentiments that I have heat embossed to continue with that black and white detail. 

The gift bag is SO SIMPLE to make from just one sheet of DSP with just 5 score lines and a bit of adhesive.  To keep it in coordination with the card, I have added another Darling Donkey onto one of the circles that I have cut out from the Basic White Cardstock layer on the card!  To finish, I have added some Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon tied in a row through one of the Clever Clasps that I have used to secure the bag.
