Today I have made a card for the GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT which is a weekly challenge.  This week the challenge starting point is a sketch which is always a great one to make you approach your cards from a different angle!  Scroll down to see the sketch for this challenge!

For my card design, I have used the DANDY LASER CUT PAPER which is a product that features in the 2021 JANUARY - JUNE MINI CATALOGUE.

This DANDY GARDEN LASER CUT PAPER is great for adding to your projects, both as background layers, and layering elements.  They are super delicate and as they are white in colour, you can also add colour to them with a number of colouring tools including the new BLENDING BRUSHES.

My sentiment comes from the SO SENTIMENTAL STAMP SET and I have heat embossed it onto BASIC BLACK CARDSTOCK using WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER.

To finish, I have added some flowers that have been fussy cut from the BERRY BLESSINGS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and some RHINESTONE BASIC JEWELS for a bit of sparkle!

Here is the sketch that is the starting point for this week's GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT

I really like the simple layering effect on this card and how the black brings it all together nicely.

I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
