Hello and welcome to my blog,
Today I am sharing another card design that I have created with the In the Pines Stamp Set and a really simple but effective embossing and watercolour technique.
For my watercolour design, I have used the Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. To start, I have heat embossed the Christmas tree using White Stampin Emboss Powder.
Once set with a Heat Tool, I have moistened the paper with water from a Stampin' Spritzer, and then added a wash of Mossy Meadow Ink with a Water Painter. Once dry, I have added another layer and the splashed a little more water on to achieve the finished mottled look.
For the remainder of this card design, I have added a layer of Mossy Meadow Cardstock, some of the Gold Cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack., and a stamped sentiment from the In The Pines Stamp Set, cut into a small banner.
