Each Wednesday evening at 8.30pm I host a Facebook live card making session where I make two cards. This week I chose the Special Someone Stamp Set from the January - June Mini Catalogue and put together these two cards...

I am really enjoying using the subtles collection of colours at the moment and the 2019-2021 In-Colours so both cards have been put together using those...and I have used Thick Whisper White A4 Cardstock for the card bases too...
The frame has been die-cut from the Ornate Layers Dies and I have layered a die-cut piece of Whisper White Cardstock that has been cut from one of the Rectangle Stitched Dies.
I have used the squirrel image for this card, stamped in Sahara Sand and coloured over with the Ivory Stampin' Blend and the Colour Lifter. I have stamped the balloon tail and then stuck the squirrel over so that it looks like he is holding the balloon.
The balloon has been stamped twice; the main colour in Seaside Spray and the outline in Tuxedo Black Memento. I have attached this to the card front using a Stampin' Dimensional to raise.
Finally, the sentiment has been heat-embossed onto Basic Black Cardstock using White Stampin' Emboss Powder and fussy cut around into the little strip.
For my second card, I have cut a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock (7cm x 12cm) and run through the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder before attaching to the card front. I have then torn the right hand side of the card so that the card front is smaller than the back of the card. This is one of my favourite techniques right now!
The racoon has been stamped using Smoky Slate and attached to the card front towards the bottom. I have used the grass die from the Special Day Dies to cut a strip of Whisper White Cardstock and coloured over using the Mint Macaron Dark Stampin' Blend and attached to the card front so that it looks like the racoon is standing behind the grass.
I have stamped the flower also in Smoky Slate and coloured in with the Rococo Rose Dark Stampin Blend, cut around and attached to the card so it appears that the raccoon is holding the flower. I have added a Basic Rhinestone Jewel to the centre of the flower to add a bit of sparkle!
To finish, I have added a heat embossed sentiment onto Basic Gray Cardstock using White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Gray Cardstock that I have trimmed down into a little banner.
