Today I am sharing with you a home decor piece that I have put together using the Happy Tails Stamp Set. For those of you who don't know me personally, I have a soon to be 1 year old Miniature Dachshund called Dave. He is everything from cute, fun, energetic, loving and a destroyer of EVERYTHING.
This project is something I have had in mind for a while now and I finally got around to putting it together. The main paw print that I have used is actually Dave's paw that my Husband helped me print. I'm really pleased with how it came out and Dave was quite patient with us too.
It's so nice to have something unique to our little pup and I will definitely cherish this.
I have heat embossed the sentiment onto Basic Black Cardstock using White Stampin' Emboss Powder and cut it down into word tiles before attaching it to the frame. This is a really nice technique for making sentiments fit a certain area you have and I think the black and white looks really effective too.
The other words have been stamped using a retired stamp set that I have kept on my shelf and I'm glad I have kept it. Letter stamps are really handy to have and I'm a big believer in capturing important dates and milestones and this is just that.
