INSPIRE.CREATE CHALLENGE #056

Hi all,

Welcome to the Inspire.Create Challenges blog. Challenge number 56 is all about the sketch.

Sketches are one of my favourite ways to approach my projects and this one definitely challenged my flow of creativity!

I am a BIG lover of stripes in my life and I have been non-stop christmas card making so it was nice to have a bit of a change and reach for something non-festive!

I have created my stripes using strips of Night of Navy and Whisper White Cardstock layered onto a base layer of Night of Navy Cardstock. The strips measure 1" wide.

The flower image comes from the Band Together Stamp Set and has been coloured in with Stampin' Blends and cut out using my trsuty Paper Snips.

Once attached to the card front, I have added some Wink of Stella to the flower heads to create a bit of sparkle.

To finish, I have added the sentiment at the bottom of the card and a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels for a bit of extra sparkle!
