Today's card is a little autumnal for me, and one of my favourite times of the year, when the leaves change from green to beautiful shades of orange and red. At the moment these shades are all over social media and I think I felt inspired before creating this card.
The Colourful Seasons Stamp Set and Seasonal Layers Dies are an oldie but a goodie in my opinion and the sentiments are thoughtful which is always a bonus! I have used the two products to create all the stamped and die-cut elements on my card.
My cardbase is Cajun Craze, a colour that isn't used enough and I am guilty of that too. Its a deep reddish brown colour and is so fitting for this time of the year.
I have run the card front through the Subtle Embossing Folder to add a bit of texture. I have added a 3.5" square of Terracotta Tile coloured gingham 2019-21 In-Colour DSP which I have distressed lightly around the edges with a Sponge Dauber and some Crumb Cake ink.
The sentiment has been stamped in Soft Suede onto a piece of Whisper White Carstock measuring 3" square. Before attaching it to the card front I have doodled a thin line around the edge using a Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker.
I have stamped the lines of the leaves using Soft Suede and then added the in-fill colour using Terracotta Tile, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze. These have then bee die-cut around and layered along the left hand side of my DSP using Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish, I have used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch to cut a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock until it measures the width of the DSP, and attached. I have used a Cajun Craze Stampin' Blend Marker to add colour to some Pearl Basic Jewels and attached.
