Inspire.Create Challenge #051

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, September 04, 2019
Hi all,

Image may contain: text

Welcome to Inspire.Create challenge #051 which is all about sympathy cards.  I always find these cards difficult but I find the trick is to keep it clean and simple.

I have used an my old faithful Colourful Seasons Stamp Set and coordinating Seasonal Layers Dies.  These are a great set of products for using throughout the year and the sentiments are really useful too!

I have started with a cardbase cut from Smoky Slate A4 Cardstock folded in a tent fold.  I have cut a large scalloped square from the Layering Sqaures Dies in Basic Gray Cardstock and attached it to the cardbase using Stampin Dimensionals.

Next, I have cut a stitched square from the Stitched Shapes Dies in Whisper White Cardstock. and using a Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad, I have stamped the branch image.  I have then attached this square to the cardbase so that it is in the centre of the Basic Gray scalloped square already attached.

I have stamped a selection of the flowers using a combination of Smoky Slate and Basic Gray, die-cut them out using the relevant dies and then attached to the branch.  I have added a few Basic Pearls to the design also.

For the sentiment, I have stamped 'thinking of you' onto Basic Black Cardstock using Versamark, added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and set with a Heat Tool.  This has been cut into a strip and added to the card to finish.

As always thank you for joining us at Inspire.Create.  If you would like to enter this challenge, please enter your link on the main page.  Click HERE to take part!
