Sailing Home is still a firm favourite....

Hi all,

I just can't stop going back to the Sail Away Suite of products.  If you haven't had chance to see the suite, then you must! To say I am hooked is an understatement.  The images are so detailed and the coordinating dies are really intricate and there are some great additional dies in the set too!

I made this card on Sunday after me and my little family took a walk along the River Medway.  We took in the lovely sights from Upnor Castle to lots of boats and then stopped for a slice of cake in one of our favourite places.  It was a lovely morning in the windy sunshine and I definitely felt inspired when I got home to my craft room.

I have used a standard card base cut from Balmy Blue Cardstock that I have stamped all over with a Balmy Blue Classic Stampin' Pad and the anchor image stamp from the Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set.

I have added a piece of stripey Come Sail Away DSP  (my favourite design in the pack!) and used the rope die from the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies to cut two pieces of Soft Suede Cardstock to add along the top and bottom of the DSP strip.

The banner has been cut from another die in the set onto which I have used a Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad to stamp the sentiment, and this has been mounted onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The anchor has been stamped using a Balmy Blue Classic Stampin' Pad onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut out using the coordinating die and attached.

I always enjoy using this Sailing Home Stamp Set and Smooth Sailing Dies.  When purchasing these items together as a bundle, you can save 10% off the catalogue price.

I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
