It's been a while since I entered the Global Design Project so lets change that! This weeks' project has the theme of Case the Designer and the designer is one of my favourite Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Janneke's cards are always stunning and I regularly feel inspired by her. The card she has made for the challenge is clean, simple and as always hits the right notes!
For my entry I have used the new Over the Moon Stamp Set to create my dreaming cow! I have layered the cow with a combination of stamps ink and paper.
To create my card, I have used:
- A piece of Whisper White Cardstock that has been splashed with ink from a Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend Marker and then embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
- A piece of Gingham Seaside Spray In-Colour DSP,
- A die-cut Basic Black Cardstock scalloped strip that has been cut using the scalloped Edgelit from the Seasonal Layers Dies
- A piece of Pool Party Cardstock that has been cut using one of the Stitched Nested Label Dies
- A few Basic Pearl Jewels, some that I have left plain and some that I have coloured with a Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend Marker.
To finish, I have cut the individual words from the sentiment down and attached to the card as single word tiles. This is a great technique for when the sentiment you want to use isn't necessarily the right shape for the look you are aiming for!
