Sunday Stamping with me.....and Beautiful Friendship

Hi all,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  We had lots of fun here celebrating my husbands birthday with all our family and some of our closest friends.  The sun even came out when rain was forecast!

Last week was the last week of term for us here so it was a very busy week and unfortunately I missed my regular Watch it Wednesday slot so I finally managed to do this on Sunday night!

Thank you to everyone who tuned it, it was lovely to have so many of you watching!

If you missed it, I have included the recording below for you.....

Today I am sharing details of the first card that I put together in the Live session.  I would class this as a clean card but there is alot going on to put it together!

I have used a standard C6 cardbase cut from Thick A4 Whisper White Cardstock (measuring 10.5cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm and folded in half).  I have added a top layer of Whisper White Cardstock (measuring 10cm x 14.4cm) that has been embossed using the Tufted Embossing Folder.  This has been attached to the card front using Liquid Multipurpose Adhesive (Tombow).

I have stamped the double flower head image onto a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Roccoco Rose, and Crushed Curry for the stamens.  I have cut out with my Paper Snips and attached to the cardfront using Stampin Dimensionals to raise.  The leaves have been stamped in Garden Green, cut out and layered underneath the flower head.

I have created the banner by stamping the sentiment onto Whisper White Cardstock, cut into a strip to fit in the gap under the flower.

Before attaching to the cardfront, I have wound some Linen Thread around the left hand edge, secured with a Stampin' Dimensional underneath and tied in a bow.

For the inside of the card, I have used another piece of Whisper White Cardstock (measuring 10cm x 14.4cm) for an additional layer.  Before attaching inside the card, I have stamped the double flower head image to match the front.  The sentiment that I have used comes from the Praiseworthy Prose Stamp Set and I think it brings everything together nicely.

Come back later on this week to see the other 2 cards that I created in this session.  If you can't wait, check out the video below....
