Friends Forever with Happy Tails....

Hi all,

The Happy Tails Photopolymer Stamp Set that has been on my shelf for a while now but I must admit doesn't get used very often.  This stamp set can be purchased alongside the Dog Builder Punch and there are two-step stamping options so it is a very versatile set!  Today and tomorrow I will be sharing two projects that I have put together using these two prodycts and I hope you like them.

The first project is a card that I have created using just stamps ink and paper.

FOR THE FRONT OF THE CARD....
Starting with a standard card base in Basic Gray folded in a tent-fold design.  I have added a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (measuring 10cm x 14.4cm) that I have used a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad to stamp the dog image multiple times.  I have roughly coloured the images in with a Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend and attached to the card base.

I have cut a piece of Velum to the same size as the Whisper White layer and roughed up the edges with my Paper Snips.  This has been loosely attached using small dots of Mulitpurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I have added a strip of Basic Black Cardstock and two die-cut pieces of Bermuda Bay & Whisper White Cardstock that have been die-cut using the NEW Stitched Nested Label Dies.  Before attaching the white piece, I have stamped the sentiment and paw print using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad.

The dog has been stamped and cut out with the Dog Builder Punch and coloured with both the Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The collar has been stamped in Bermuda Bay, cut out and attached.

FOR THE INSIDE OF THE CARD...
It's always nice to add some extra detail to your cards and for me this includes the inside of your card, and the envelope of course!  For this card, I have cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm and attached.  I have stamped and coloured the dog again and added the sentiment to finish.

I'm quite pleased with the way this card has turned out and think it would be a great card to send to a friend, (as long as they like dogs of course).  The colour options are endless with this set, and as you will see tomorrow, there are different stamps in the sent so you can add detail to your dogs without actually colouring them in!

I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
