Bird Ballad Decorated Pressed Petals Journal

Hi all,

I'm not sure if you have noticed, but there is a cute little journal available in the new catalogue and it is really easy to miss. The Pressed Petals Journal is a spiral-bound journal with perforated pages that you can remove and use on card fronts or memory keeping pages. The front cover has been debossed and it measures 10.8cm x 14cm so it's great to keep in your handbag or craft tote to make notes on.

As part of our kit that we received at a recent craft day, we were given one of these journals to decorate. It was lots of fun seeing how everyone designed their front covers and they were all so different!

I chose to decorate my front cover using the items from the Bird Ballad Suite. I have torn a piece of the bird cage DSP and attached. Next, have cut around some of the birds and attached. I have used one of the Bird Ballad Trinkets layered over some more of the DSP and Lace Scalloped Ribbon. The sentiment has been stamped and added as banner to finish.
