THANKS FOR BEING YOU WITH BIRD BALLAD BUNDLE

Hi all,

Yesterday saw our new 2019/20 Annual catalogue released so you can now place your orders.  As a Demonstrator I have been able to pre-order from the catalogue since the beginning of May (another perk!) and one of my MUST HAVE products was the new Bird Ballad Bundle which is made up of the Free as a Bird Stamp Set and Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  The stamp set is so detailed and the birds are so easy to bring to life with your choice of colouring tool, and the dies are stunning!

For today's card, I have used both products.

I have used a standard C6 card base (made from Whisper White Cardstock measuring 10.5cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm and folded in half).

I have cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock to measure 9.5cm x 13.9cm.  I have stamped the leaf image stamp using Versamark, added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and set with a heat tool.  I have attached this to the card front.

I have cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and used the largest Stitched Nested Dies to cut an aperture.  I have attached this to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the bird detail, I have stamped the main birds image onto Whisper White Cardstock using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and coloured in with Stampin' Blends.  There is no die for these birds so I have cut around with my Paper Snips.

I have cut a piece of Vellum measuring 4cm x 10cm and attached across the lower section of the aperture.  Onto this, I have attached the birds.  Because I have already used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the frame, I have added the Vellum and Birds with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the sentiment, I have used Versamark and White Stampin' Emboss Powder to heat emboss the sentiment onto Basic Black Cardstock.  I have cut this out into a word tile and attached underneath the birds.

To finish, I have added a few Pearl Basic Jewels at random across the card front.

I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
