Well it's been a VERY busy weekend here at Marsh Manor with a weekend away in Manchester to watch one of mine & Darren's favourite bands...Muse! I think i am just about recovered and I have a really fun rainbow inspired project for you all.
I was a BIG FAN of the now retired Large Letter Dies so the new Hand-Lettered Prose Dies were a must have for me. Another new item at the top of my wish list was the Family Party Photopolymer Stamp Set that you see tucked behind my card. Both are great additions to your craft stash and I know I will be using these two items alot over the coming months!
For my card, I have used the oil spill image stamp from the Geared Up Garage Cling Stamp Set and stamped in a row using Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pads to create the rainbow effect.
I have die-cut the letters to create the word "happy" in both Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock and layered together to create the shadow effect. The letters have been attached to each oil slick stamp and to finish, I have added "Birthday" underneath.
This is a really neutral card that I would happily send to any gender, or age person and with the Family Party Photopolymer Stamp Set you could even personalise for your relatives!
