Watch it Wednesday featuring the Floating Frame technique...

Hi all,

This week I have been sharing cards that I designed for my monthly Card Class that took place on Tuesday.  All the cards were designed using the Floating Frame Technique so I chose to share another card on my Watch it Wednesday weekly feature where I create the card Live on my Facebook page.

This technique lends itself to any occasion and today's card would be perfect for a new baby or exciting baby news.

The Little Elephant Stamp Set and Elephant Builder Punch is currently available as a bundle until the 3rd May, meaning that you can purchase the two items together and save 10%.  When it carries over to the new 2019/20 Annual Catalogue on the 4th June, the items will need to be purchased seperately.

I have used a standard card base, and layered onto it a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (measurements below).

I have cut a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies from Mint Macaron Cardstock and attached tot he card front.

The elephants have been stamped in Smoky Slate and cut out using the Elephant Builder Punch.  On the video, you will see a great technique for lining the stamps up so that when you punch them out, you get less waste and it's just a lot easier.

I have used the "Congratulations" sentiment from the Little Elephant Stamp Set and I have used Basic Gray Ink for this.

Tune into the video below to see the card created from start to finish....

For the Card:
  • Basic Gray Cardstock measuring 10.5cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm & folded in half.
  • 2 pieces of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm (one for the outside and one for the inside)
I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
Click on the images to find out more information and to add them to your shopping basket in my online shop:

When placing an order online, please remember to enter the hostess code below at checkout
All customers who add this code to their order will receive a gift from me at the end of the month.  If your order totals more than £150 please do not use this code as you can choose your own rewards to add to your order, and you will still receive a very special gift from me at the end of the month.

If your order totals £130 or more, you can save money by adding it to the Starter Kit option
The current joining offer means that for £99 you can choose £130 of product of your choice and join Stampin' Up!  You can click the "Save and Join" icon above to find out more information on what this means.  A great thing about buying the Starter Kit is that you become part of the Stampin' Up! community and have access to exclusive demonstrator events, discounted product and first-access to new products!

As always, if you have any questions leave me a comment or send me an email and I will do my best to help.

Tune in next Wednesday at 8pm for my next Watch it Wednesday Live feature...
