Introducing "It Starts With Art" stamp set

Hi all,

Today's post features one of the brand new stamp sets that features in the soon to be released 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.  Those that attended Onstage earlier on this month were given brand new product to play with and I was really lucky to get this stamp set.  It's so versatile and is great for colouring which you all know I'm a very big fan of!

I have made two cards using the stamp set, similar design and different colours.  I would love to know which one is your favourite!

I really like the detail on the pens and the background stamp I have used is designed to fit inside the dies that coordinate with this set so would make a great tag!  As I don't have the dies I have chosen to use it for the background and I have stamped it in the matching colour for the cardstock base.

I love everything about the sentiment from the font that has been used and the meaning behind it.  I am lucky to call lots of crafters my friends and they really do keep me sane!  I can think of lots of people I could send this card to! I have heat-embossed it in Whisper White Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Basic Black cardstock. This is a really popular technique at the moment as its great for making your sentiments "POP".

For the pink card, I have stamped the pens onto Whisper White Cardstock using Memento Ink and used Stampin' Blends to colour the image in.  I used Daffodil Delight Light, Balmy Blue Light, Petal Pink Light and Crumb Cake Light.

For the green card, I have heat-embossed the pens using Basic Black Stampin' Emboss Powder onto Watercolour Paper and coloured in using an Aqua Painter and ink from the lid of an ink pad.
