TEAM TRAINING PILLOW GIFTS

Hi all,

So this weekend was spent at our twice-annual team training event in Milton Keynes.

As a demonstrator these events are a great opportunity to meet with other demonstrators (82 present at this event) share ideas, learn new techniques, use product you may not have used before and generally have the most wonderful time, and this one did not disappoint!

I am really lucky to be part of a team that spans the UK and Europe, and within that I have a team of local demonstrators that I also call friends. There were 3 of us in total that attended from my team this weekend. I am really proud of every single member of my team and I love introducing people to these wider attended events as they celebrate everything that Stampin' Up! is about.

Whenever I attend these sorts of events it usually includes an overnight stay of some sort and my way of saying thank you to my team for coming along and sharing it with me is with a little "pillow gift".  For those that haven't attended beforehand, it's so nice that these gifts come as a little surprise and I truly enjoy doing it.

For this time, I put together a small package that included a wooden letter, a notebook and pen and a card of course!  I have put together this set of treats using matching DSP to tie it all together and the same sentiment.

Whenever I'm out and about, Im always on the look out for things that I can decorate or use within my crafting. Notepads are great for decorating and sending out as gifts or selling at craft fairs. Who doesn't love a notebook??!! I find the ones without covers are best for decorating as there is less faff!

The card was a simple one to tie it all together with just a strip of he DSP that I used to cover the notebook and the same punch/sentiment combination.

The letterr, in it's undecorated state was wooden in colour. I used an ink pad to add the colour simply by rubbing the ink pad directly onto the letter and filling in any gaps with an Aqua Painter!

I have created the label with a 2" strip of Whisper White Cardstock that has been shaped using the Tag Topper Punch. The same punch/sentiment combination has been used again.
