A later post than normal for me as I have now I have given this card out! Its mother's Day here in the UK and I've spent a wonderful day so far with my girls, my mum and my mother in law. The hubby booked a very special afternoon tea for us all where we got to bake and prepare it all together, it was such fun!
I can now share with you the card that I made for the Mothership of all Mothers, my Mum to mark this year's Mother's Day.
This card was made a few weeks back and features a fold that we were shown at a recent training event. I have also used the cards from the Sweet Soiree Memories and More Card Pack that is currently available for FREE in the soon to end Sale-a-Bration promotion....and NO STAMPING!!
This card is made from 1 sheet of A4 cardstock, and is so simple to create!
The fancy fold is on the inside so is a nice surprise for the recipient who thinks it's just a piece of card folded in half! As my Mum is a fellow paper crafter, I like to create something a bit different and she is a big floral lover!
I have used the Large Letter Framelit Dies here to die-cut the word "MUM" out, and re-attaching the letters using Stampin' Dimensionals to give a 3D look. For all those Pinterest users, I'm sure you would have seen this technique as it seems really popular at the moment!
Thanks for reading!
Stacey
