Inspire Create Challenge #049 Colour Challenge

Hi all,

Today over at Inspire.Create.Challenges we have a new challenge to share with you. The theme challenge #049 is to create a project with three specific colours. I was really excited to create my project for this challenge as two of the colours are my absolute favourite two colours to use....yellow and grey! The addition of Pool Party is fab too and I think it compliments the other two colours brilliantly!

For my card design I have used the FREE Time For Tags Cling Mount Stamp Set that can be ordered with Stampin' Rewards that you have earnt from a qualifying order. This stamp set is great because it coordinates with the Timeless Label Punch and the sentiments are suitable for a number of occasions!

I have kept the design very simple with a Basic Black Card Base that I have added a piece of Whisper White DSP (measuring 9cm x 13cm) that I have used an Aqua Painter to add a wash of Pool Party Ink and some splashes of Basic Gray Ink. Once dry, I have attached to the card front.

The balloon image comes from the Time For Tags Cling Mount Stamp Set. I have stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstock twice, cutting one out with the Timeless Label Punch. Underneath the punched tag, I have added some of the Whisper White Polka Dot Tuile Ribbon that I have coloured with a Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blend Marker and attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I have coloured in the second stamped image using Stampin' Blends Markers in the colour scheme and cut out the balloon with Paper Snips, and attached directly over the top of the image on the tag.
