SIMPLE STAMPING LAYERING DESIGN USING STITCHED RECTANGLE DIES AND BASKET OF BLOOMS STAMP SET

Hello and welcome to my blog today, thank you so much for visiting. 

Today I am sharing a bright and busy card design that I have created using the BASKET OF BLOOMS STAMP SET and a simple layering technique using the RECTANGLE STITCHED DIES. 

Both items feature in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and I have added the tutorial below for you to watch and see how I created the card from scratch. 

I have started by adding the individual flower and leaf images to a single block to then stamp with a TUXEDO BLACK MEMENTO INK PAD across a piece of BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK measuring 10cm x 14.4cm. 

I have added colour to the images using a selection of STAMPIN BLENDS PENS in the following colours. 

I have used a RECTANGLE STITCHED DIES to cut the centre of the stamped card, added a layer of BASIC BLACK CARDSTOCK underneath the die-cut piece and attached back onto the card front using STAMPIN' DIMENSIONALS to raise. 

This is such a fun technique and looks very clever as the pattern looks as though it continues from the bottom piece!

My sentiment comes from the BLOOM AND GROW STAMP SET and I have heat embossed it onto BASIC BLACK CARDSTOCK using WHITE STAMPIN' EMBOSS POWDER.  

To finish, I have added some of the fussy-cut flower and leaf images with some RHINESTONE BASIC JEWELS for a touch of sparkle. 

I really think the touch of black and white really lifts this card and makes the bright colours pop that little bit more.
