Hello and welcome to my blog,

Today I am sharing some recent thank you cards that I sent out with this month's Card in a Box kits. I have used products from the Snowflake Splendor suite that features in the August - December Mini Catalogue.

I have kept the design simple with layers of Balmy Blue cardstock, Vellum that I have embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, and laid over Whisper White Cardstock, Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Papers and Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper.

The colours in this suite of product are so delicate and I love the pop of Highland Heather mixed with the Pool Party and Balmy Blue.

The stand out product for me on these cards is the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, it is super delicate and is perfect for this colour combination too!

That said, I also love the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper; the photos really don't do the sparkle justice! I have layered the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set onto a die-cut circle that I have added some embossed snowflakes onto too.

So looking forward to getting these cards out to my customers!

FANCY PHRASES BIRTHDAY CARD

Hello and welcome to my blog,

Today I am sharing a card design that I have created using the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set that features in the 2020 Annual Catalogue and is a firm favourite of mine.

This card was created during a recent Facebook Live card making session, and you can watch the replay HERE

In this design, I have shown how you can cut out a larger image with a die when it is bigger and not cut off the edges. You will notice that the leaves are hanging over the edge of the circle and although I am a huge advocate of fussy cutting, this will save you from having to cut intricate images. It also looks really effective on the card too.

And of course, I have added some extra design to the inside of the card for added detail and to bring the whole card together.

The sentiments in the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set are super useful for creating a special card for someone and are perfect for a number of occasions too.
