Bird Ballad Laser Cards in a Tin....part 2!

Hi all,

I hope you all managed to keep your cool in the crazy heat yesterday!  We managed just fine and I'm so glad that the storm seems to have cooled things down!

For today's post, I am sharing with you the final 3 card designs from July's card class and of course the decorated tin to keep the cards safe in!

I really enjoyed designing the cards for this class and it was lots of fun to share them with the ladies who attended the class.  I hope you have finished them all now!

Each attendee was given a set of the Bird Ballad Laser Cards that come in the gorgeous coordinating tin.  They also were given some Bird Ballad DSP, cardstock and I took along some punches, dies, the Free as a Bird Stamp Set and a selection of coordinating Stampin' Blends for them to use.

I cut out the centre design of the laser card (which I used on the front of the tin), and added some Soft Sea Foam Cardstock behind.
The birds image has been stamped from the Free as a Bird Stamp Set, coloured in with Stampin' Blends, cut out and attached to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I have added the sentiment which has been cut using the NEW Timeless Label Punch and some tied Linen Thread to finish.

I have added a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock underneath the laser card front.  The tag has been cut using the NEW Nested Dies which has been attached so that it overhangs the edge of the cardfront, trimming off the excess.  The flowers have been stamped, coloured in with Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends, cut out and attached using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.

I have kept this one very simple with a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock that I have cut with the Timeless Label Punch and attached onto the laser card front.  The birds have been cut out from the Bird Ballad DSP and attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The sentiment comes from the Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit and I have cut into word tiles before attaching.

This card was cased from a design on Pinterest by Sara Nell LanglandI have added a piece of Bird Ballad DSP to the underneath of the laser card front.  I have created the tag using the NEW Stitched Nested Dies.  The leaves have been stamped from the Free as a Bird Stamp Set and coloured in with Old Olive Stampin' Blends.  The flower that is attached has been cut out from the Bird Ballad DSP and attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.

For details on this design, see a separate post HERE

The tin design is a combination of die-cutting, stamping, colouring, linen thread, Lace ribbon and a Bird Ballad Tinket all layered together.

I think this set of cards presented in the tin would make a wonderful gift for a special friend, I hope you like it!  Do you have a favourite?!

The whole Bird Ballad Suite of products is available to buy as one and it really is a truly inspirational set of products that are so versatile and the designs are endless!  I have loved using everything and I'm sure it won't be the last you see of it in my designs!

I have used the following products and tools to put this project together:
