Hi all,

I hope you are having a good week.  It is half term here so lots of catching up with friends, park trips, soft play and dance workshops for my girls!

Yesterday was my weekly "Watch it Wednesday" feature over on my Facebook Page and I chose to showcase the newly released Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This product was released on the 15th May and will only be available while stocks last.

The kit costs £20.00 and has everything you need to make 12 hand stamped cards for a variety of occasions.  The kit even comes in a pretty box!  I loved opening mine when it arrived as there has been alot of attention to detail in creating this kit so it feels like a really special purchase.

This would be great to buy as a gift for someone, or as a starter kit as it's a great introduction to card making as well.

In my Facebook Live Video, I have showcased what you get in the kit and made a few additional cards to demonstrate different uses....

For the first card, I have heat embossed the feather image onto Crumb Cake Cardstock using White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I have coloured lightly with the Ivory and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends and added some Linen Thread tied around the card.  The sentiment has been stamped onto the Stitched Nested Label Die cut shape.  In the Facebook Live Video you will see a really clever technique for masking part of a sentiment so that you only stamp part of the image.

The second card is put together using a Whisper White Notecard and the splatter image stamp from the set.  I have used the new Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad for this and used the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add some splashing over the top.

I have used the new Timeless Label Punch to cut out a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and added a feather that I have stamped, coloured and cut out.  On this card I have used the full "Dear Friend" sentiment that I have cut out using the Classic Label Punch and attached to the card front.

If you would like to watch these cards being created from scratch, you can watch the video back below...

Spots, Animals and Bows....what more do you need?!

in , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, May 29, 2019
Hi all,

Today's card is a celebration that this gorgeous Animal Outing Stamp Set is carrying over into the new 2019/20 Annual Catalogue and to let you know that from 4th June 2019, it is being offered in the new Cling mounted stamp, hooray!

I took inspiration for this card from the gorgeously talented Lyns Linds and a card that she posted last week featuring spots!  I am a big fan of spots and stripes so you would have seen many of these if you follow my blog and i'm quite often spotted wearing stripes!

For my background, I have used Sponge Daubers to create the spots.  Simply, I have tapped them in the ink pad and then straight onto the card!  I have used Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray which all go together beautifully.

I have added a piece of Whisper White Cardstock that has been die-cut using the new Nested Dies and I have laid it over the edge and cut off the excess shape.

The Linen Thread has been tied around the card and I have secured with a double bow.  The Rhino has been stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured in with the Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  I have added him to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment has been stamped onto Basic Gray Cardstock using Versamark and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.

To finish, I have added a couple of silver sequins.

If you have this stamp set on your wish list then you may want to buy it before the 3rd June as it is available as part of a bundle with the coordinating dies, saving you 10%.  From the 4th June, you will only be able to purchase the stamps and dies seperately.
