COFFEE AND CARD DESIGN WITH PAINTED POPPIES

Hello and welcome to the start of a new week! I had a lovely weekend and even managed a spot of crafting!

Today I am sharing with you the card design to make at my regular Coffee and Card session held at The Pantry in Chatham, Kent using the new Painted Poppies Stamp Set.

I try to keep my Coffee and Card designs fairly simple with only using a handful of items as it's a great way to show people how simple it is to make a pretty card, and that's what I have done with this card.

I have used a strip of the FREE Golden Honey Designer Series Paper to layer onto the front of a standard C6 card base cut from Thick A4 Whisper White Cardstock. The DSP measures 5cm x 14.9cm.

I have added a smaller strip of Basic Black Cardstock so that it overlaps on the right hand side. and cut a circle of Crushed Curry Cardstock using the 2.5" Circle Punch (now retired) and attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. Onto the white space, I have stamped the small splatter image using a Cruched Curry Classic Stampin' Pad.

Onto another piece of Whisper White Cardstock I have used a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment, poppies, leaves and 'Happy Birthday', leaving plenty of room to cut around.
For the sentiment, I have cut it out using the Everyday Label Punch.

For the poppies, I have used the in-fill stamp to stamp over the poppy outline using a Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad and trimmed around.

Once I have cut everything out, I have layered onto the card front!
