Today I am sharing with you a card that I have put together using two NEW stamp sets; Family Party and Sweetly Swirled. Both of these stamp sets are very useful and the options are endless for card making, scrapbooking, memory albums and so much more!
I often find people asking me to make them cards for special occasions and relatives so the Family Party stamp set is a must have for me. It is full of relatives and useful names plus a variety of occasions and numbers! This card has now been given so I am allowed to share it with you.
Today's card is one of the trickiest that I find to create...the teenager card! It's a tricky time of life when cute characters might no longer cut it, but they're not quite ready for some of the more mature designs. I chose to keep my card nice and bright, and used the swirled circles from the Sweetly Swirled Photopolymer Stamp Set to create the background layer.
The main sentiment feature has been put together with layers of cardstock that has been cut free-hand (the blue strip underneath), die-cut (using the Stitched Nested Dies), and Punches (Starburst & 2" Circle Punch).
I have used a combination of Pacific Point and Real Red to stamp the sentiment and create the present image.
This card was lots of fun to create and would look fab in any colour!
MEASUREMENTS:
- Pacific Point Cardstock measuring 5" x 10", scored at 5" to create the cardbase
- Whisper White Cardstock measuring 4.75" x 4.75" (2 pieces - one for the cardfront and another for inside the card)
- Vellum measuring 4.75" x 4.75"
