Today is my second Coffee and Card of the month and I promised by regulars that we would be using the Sailing Home Stamp Set that features on the front of the new 2019/20 catalogue and is all over social media sites already!
I have really enjoyed using this stamp set. There are some very detailed images and some lovely sentiments in this set so I find it really easy to put together simple but effective projects. This stamp set leans towards the male-orientated projects so today's card would be great to send to a male relative.
I have made two cards using the same design and I have kept my colour scheme nice and simple....tones of Blue and White. Balmy Blue and Night of Navy to be precise.
I like to give my Coffee and Card customers a bit of a choice with their cards, and today's choice is the background stamping section of the card. On one I have used the anchor image and stamped in Balmy Blue. And on the other, I have used the compass image and stamped in Night of Navy. Both sentiments are the same, as is the boat feature in the circle.
Most went for the anchor design, however one lady stamped the compass image in Balmy Blue which also looked fab!
I have used the Layering Circles Dies to cut the circles that I have used. The larger scallop circle has been cut from Balmy Blue Cardstock and the plain circle has been cut from Whisper White Cardstock. The yacht image has been stamped in Night of Navy Ink and I have used an Aqua Painter very lightly on the water at the bottom of the boat to create depth in the water.
"Happy Birthday" comes from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set and has been stamped in Night of Navy Ink.
For the inside of the card, and the envelope, I have stamped the smaller yacht image also in Night of Navy Ink.

Thick A4 Whisper White Cardstock - measuring 10.5cm x 29.8cm, scored at 14.9cm and folded in half
Whisper White A4 Cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm, cut diagonally in half.
For the inside of the card: Whisper White A4 Cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm
