Farewell to Floral Statements...

Hi all,

Another retiring stamp set is the gorgeous Floral Frames. This stamp set has been around a while now but it's so useful for quick thank you cards and is great for colouring!

Today's card has been put together using a C6 cardbase (half an A4 sheet of So Saffrom Cardstock, scored and folded in half).

The top layer is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.4cm and I have used one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the whole in the centre to create the frame. This has been attached to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals so that it is raised.

Onto a seperate piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I have used a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad to stamp the "Thanks" image. I have coloured the image in using Stampin' Blends in a combination of Old Olive Light and Dark plus Daffodil Delight Light and Dark. I have used the Colour Lifter Stampin' Blend to soften the colouring at the edges of the flowers and leaves.

You will notice that the letters are very black. I find it really useful to colour over the letters carefully with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker as it makes the letters really POP!

I have carefully cut the image out using Paper Snips and attached to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish, I have added a few Iridescent Sequins that I have stuck to the card using Liquid Multipurpose Adhseive (TOMBOW) as it dries nice and clear!
