Piece of Cake Coffee and Card design...

Hi all,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine, for a change, was not spent running around after the girls, but instead enjoying family time at home, seeing friends and family, and I even managed to squeeze in some crafting time, hooray!

Today I am featuring this weeks Coffee and Card design using the very popular a Piece of Cake Stamp Set. My Coffee and Card sessions are becoming increasingly busy so I always try to keep the design quite straight forward, and this week we are embracing the white space!

This week, we have a choice of Melon Mambo or Highland Heather for the colour theme with some Smoky Slate and monochrome featuring on both designs.

I have used Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad to stamp the cake stand onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock. I have then used the coordinating colour to stamp the cake so that it is sitting on top of the cake stand. Using Paper a Snips, I have cut the image out and coloured in with Stampin’ Blends and attached to the card front. Once attached, I have then stamped the candles image directly onto the card front.

To finish, I have added a Glitter Enamel Dot and drawn a line around the Whisper White layer using a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
