FOREVER LOVELY STAMP SET IN TONES OF BLACKBERRY BLISS

in , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, February 03, 2019
Hi all,

I hope you’ve all enjoyed a lovely weekend. We managed to escape the snow here must to my children’s disappointment!

Today’s card that I am bringing you is using the FOREVER LOVELY PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET that features in the new Spring/Summer catalogue.

I have kept it really simple by using the same tones of one colour, Blackberry Bliss which is a lovely rich dark purple colour.

I have created the striped background using a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 10cm x 14.5cm.  Using an Aqua Painter and the lid of th Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad, I have painted stripes.  Once dry I have attached this to th C6 cardbase of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.

The image in the centre of the card is made up of two separate stamps. The one that you see in Blackberry Bliss is the one that I have stamped first and then added the leaves and background detail using the second image in Shaded Spruce ink. Before stamping both images, I have stamped onto a piece of scrap paper to get a more muted tone of the colour.

Happy Birthday has been stamped in Basic Black to finish.
