TEA TOGETHER STAMP SET SNEAK PEAK

Hi all,

Another new product sneak peak for today's card.  This time I have used the Tea Together Stamp Set which features in the Spring/Summer catalogue that launches in January!

Tea Together is a new Cling mounted stamp set and features delicately drawn images that are great for watercolouring or with Stampin' Blends.

Shall I tell you a secret about this set????

For all you fussy-cutter non-fans, there are matching FRAMELITS available for FREE with an order of £90 in January, how amazing is that?!!!

For this card, I have chosen not to use the main Tea Pot / Cup and Saucer image and have focussed instead on the flowers.

I wanted something a bit more generic for my sentiment so I have used the Incredible Like You Stamp Set for my sentiment which is also available in the new Spring/Summer catalogue which launches in January!

The main stamp set is available to purchase from January 2019.  If you would like a copy of the Spring/Summer catalogue posted to you please do get in touch.

SO HOPPY TOGETHER SNEAK PEAK

Hi all,

Following on from yesterdays' post, today's card features some more "bock stamping".   This technique is only uses ink and water added directly onto an acrylic block and left to dry.  I have used Lovely Lipstick and Clear Block IOnce dried, I have cut out and added to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I think you will agree that the main feature of this card isn't the stamping, the ribbon or the DSP, it is of course the FROGS!  Every year Stampin' Up! throw in a cutesy stamp in their Sale-a-Bration promotion and this year these little frogs are ours for the next 3 months.  The are a great size and the options are endless!  Birthdays, anniversaries, boys, girls, young, older, they just work! And who doesn't love FREE frogs??!!

I have coloured the frogs in using Stampin' Blends and they have been cut around very carefully to then add to the card.

What do you think?!!

INCREDIBLE LIKE YOU SNEAK PEAK

Hi all,

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas celebration.  I enjoyed some quality family time with no work, no crafting and lots of memories that I can't wait to fill up my Memories and More album with in January.

Today's card is all about the Incredible Like You Stamp Set which is a NEW product from the Spring/Summer 2019 catalogue that launches in January.  I absolutely adore the monochrome look and for this one I have added in Lovely Lipstick.

This stamp set was a FREE giveaway at the recent Onstage event for demonstrators and I think it was a great choice!  The sentiments are just beautiful and who doesn't love a "two-step" stamp set?!  Another great thing about this set is that it features the new and exciting "cling" style mounted stamp!  You will hear more about this in 2019 and it is a great replacement for the clear-mount and wood-mount stamp sets that you currently see offered.

For this card, I have stamped the lines in Black and the dots in Lovely Lipstick.  For the strip of Lovely Lipstick that is behind the flower, I have used a technique known as "block stamping".  This is where you add ink directly onto an acrylic block, spritz with water and place it onto your card.  Once left to dry, I have cut it out and added it onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The flowers and leaves have been stamped onto Whisper White, cut out and attached.

The main stamp set is available to purchase from January 2019.  If you would like a copy of the Spring/Summer catalogue posted to you please do get in touch.

INTRODUCING SEASONED WITH KINDNESS

Hi all,

As a hostess, you have access to an exclusive set of stamps that can be purchased at a discounted cost and in this years offering the stamp sets are just fab!

For today's card I have used the Seasoned With Kindness Stamp Set and can be purchased for just £9.00 worth of Stampin' Rewards, WOW!  There are 13 stamps in the set, and include outlines and in-fill images that can be used either on their own or for some two-step stamping fun.  Although the sentiments lean towards thank you and celebrating, the occasions are endless that this one can be used for so is a great addition to your stamp set libraries!

For my card, I have used a standard C6 card base and layered on some Wood Textures Designer Series Papers and some Shaded Spruce CardstockFor that little something extra, I have stamped the cardstock using one of the images from the set in Shaded Spruce Ink.

For the main feature of this card, I have stamped the flower pot images onto Smoky Slate Cardstock, cut out and attached to the piece of Whisper White Cardstock that is the top layer of this card.  I have then stamped the flowers onto the card, and attached the flower pot over the top.

To finish, I have stamped the sentiment tag, cut out and stuck on using a Stampin' Dimensional.  I have also tied some Linen Thread into a bow.

SEASONS GREETINGS WITH VERTICAL GREETINGS

Hi all,

I really enjoy making Christmas cards that don't look obviously Christmassy and I think this card fits that bill perfectly.

I have used muted tones of green and red to create this vintage looking style and stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock instead of Whisper White to tone it all down.

I find the Vertical Greetings Stamp Set really versatile and doesn't scream Christmas however this little tree reminds me of the small space-saving Christmas trees you see being sold at this time of year.

For this stamp set, I find it easier to add ink to the image using a Sponge Dauber so that you can add different colours into the image at the same time.  I have done just that for this one!

To create the 'distressed' look, I have added more ink using a Sponge Dauber around the edges and splashed some Crumb Cake ink using an Aqua Painter.

Believe it or not, the ribbon is actually White, however the great thing about this one is that it is so easy to add your own colour to it.  I have seen people use ink straight from an ink pad and anAqua Painter and Stampin' Blends.  I have chosen to use my Sponge Dauber again and add the ink lightly across.  The important thing here is to let the ink dry for a few minutes before attaching to the card.  This avoids any excess ink being transferred onto your project (yes I learnt this the hard way!)

To finish, I have added some Linen Thread around the bow that I have tied, and stamped the 'Seasons Greetings' sentiment that is part of the Beautiful Blizzard Stamp Set.
I would love to hear your comments on this one so please feel free to leave me one below

SEASONS GREETINGS FOR MY FINAL COFFEE & CARD OF 2019

Hi all,

I hope you all had a smashing weekend!

On the second Monday of every month I hold a Coffee and Card event at Bredgar Farm Shop.  Between 10.30-11.30 you can pop in, have a hot (or cold) drink with me and make a card that I have designed.  I provide everything you need and it costs just £5.

These sessions are always lots of fun and it's nice to craft somewhere a bit different, plus the cake is very yummy!

For today's card, of course it had to be a Christmas card and it went down really well!

This is a standard C6 card in Thick Very Vanilla A4 Cardstock and I have used a number of different products to create the design.

The wreath has been cut using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlit Dies and attached straight onto the card front.  I have added some leaves using the Leaf Punch and the Sprig Punch in two different greens. Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.   The background stamping has been done using the dots from the Beautiful Blizzard Stamp Set and the sprig image from the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp Set.

The Sentiment in the bottom corner comes from the Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set.

To finish, I have doodled a thin black line around the edge of the card front and added a red bow that has been tied with Real Red (1cm) Mixed Satin Ribbon

I really enjoyed putting this design together and I think the colour combination is just lovely!
