SWIRLY BIRD IS MORE THAN SWIRLS AND BIRDS!

Hi all,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

It was lovely to have some family time this weekend and the timing was perfect for Father's Day on Sunday!  It's always nice to be asked to make cards for people especially when i'm given a bit of direction.  This Father's Day I was asked to make two cards for a friend's daughters to give to their Dad along the theme of boats. I don't have many boat-themed items so this one was a bit of a challenge but as always Stampin' Up! delivered!

The Swirly Bird Stamp Set is a really nice set and very versatile for making backgrounds and it has a boat builder set of stamps, perfect!  I also used the Layering Squares and Stitched Shapes Thinlits.  The letters come from the **NEW** Pick a Pennant Stamp Set to create the sentiment tiles.

As the girls are sisters I wanted the cards to be similar so I created the same design, just in a different colour scheme.  What do you think?
