ENJOY TODAY WITH DELIGHTFULLY DETAILED

Hi all,

Saturday at last and a bright little card to share!

I always enjoy using Designer Series Papers as they coordinate with all the colour collections and this year Stampin' Up! have introduced the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specaility PapersThese papers are white on one side, and Very Vanilla on the other side.  On this card, I have used a small section of one of the sheets which I have cut out and used a Sponge Brayer to add colour to the white side.

I have used the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies to create the accent for the sentiment which has been backed onto Basic Black cardstock.  To finish, I have added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels

I hope you have a fab day!

FANCY FOLD FRIDAY #FFF7,

in , , , , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 29, 2018
Hi all,

Friday is here, yay!

I've had a few weeks off of the Fancy Fold Friday feature and today i'm back with something pretty and simple for you!

I have added some Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Speciality Paper onto the Basic Black card base so not only does this look fab in black and white but it's got a lovely texture to it as well.

For the close, I have cut a strip of Basic Black DSP, layered some Whisper White cardstock over and then added a mixture of circles and scalloped circles to create the front feature.

Although this Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Speciality Paper is part of the Delightfully Detailed Suite of products, I think it goes really well with the Love What You Do Stamp Set which is where the flowers and the sentiment come from.  The flower has been stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and coloured with the Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Combo PackThe sentiment has been stamped with Versamark and heat-embossed with Whisper White Embossing Powder.

This card was quite tricky to photograph but this photo hopefully will demonstrate the way the card folds to close and open...On the inside panels I have added a bit more of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Speciality Paper and a bit more of the Love What You Do Stamp Set.

Sadly there is no Happy Birthday sentiment in this stamp set so I have used the next best one on my shelf, Picture Perfect Birthday.

Would love to know your thoughts on this one..

Have a great day all!

NO STAMPING HERE!

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 28, 2018
Hi all,

Thursday and finally the weekend is in sight!  It's been a really busy week here and I've been trying to get organised for my Eclipse Card Class next Tuesday!

Cards don't always need to have lot of bells and whistles and today's card is just that with just die cutting, and no stamping!

Using the new 2018-2020 in-colour collection, I have die-cut the letters using the Large Letters Framelits Dies and cut the background strip of cardstock in the coordinating colour.

"You" has been die cut out from the "YOU" die in the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies and instead of using the die-cut word, I have used the negative image!

What do you think??

Have a great day all!

THOUGHTS FOR YOU WITH SUNSHINE WISHES

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 27, 2018
Hi all,

I hope you're all having a good week.  I am really busy with my "paid" job this week but trying really hard to fit in some crafting as well.

Today's card may look simple but there is alot going on here.  I have used a mixture of Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, Best Bird Stamp Set, Hardwood Background Stamp and the Sheltering Tree Stamp SetCan you spot what's where???

Sheltering Tree Stamp Set - I have used the spotty stamp set for the background of the card.
Hardwood Background Stamp - This is a large background stamp which is sometimes quite overhwhelming so I have stamped it onto a die-cut circle (from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies) and attached to the card base.
Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies  - The die cut flower die has been used for the main feature of the card.
Best Birds Stamp Set - "Thoughts For You" is the sentiment that has been stamped and die cut out using an oval die in the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Before attaching to the card, I have added a strip of Burlap Ribbon underneath for a bit of added texture!

If you would like to purchase any of these items used, please click the "shop now" button on the side of my blog, or contact me for more information! When ordering on line make sure to enter this months hostess code HZ3ZM6XR to receive a small gift from me at the end of the month!

Hope you have a fab day!

LOVELY FLORAL SYMPATHY CARD

in , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 22, 2018
Hi all,

Some occasions aren't for bright, colourful cards full of patterns and bling and this is one of those occasions.

Losing someone is far from easy but being able to send a card to let them know they are in your thoughts at a sad and difficult time is a wonderful gesture.

For this card I have used the **NEW** Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as the main feature.  I have used a Sponge Dauber to add some Smoky Slate Ink onto the Embossing folder before running it through the Big ShotThis has highlighted the pattern and added a bit of delicate colour.

The sentiments both inside and out come from the Better Together Stamp SetI have cut the sentiment on the front into a banner and before attaching to the card, I have swirled some Silver Metallic Thread underneath.  To finish, I have added a few Basic jewels.

For the inside of the card, I have run the Whisper White Cardstock through the embossing folder and big shot again, this time just in the bottom corner.

I think this embossing folder is going to be really popular as it seems to be all over Pinterest after just a few weeks of the catalogue being released!

Have a great day!

VARIED VASES MAKE AND TAKE

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 21, 2018
Hi there,

I hope you're all having a great week so far!

Today's card is another one using the **NEW** Varied Vases Stamp Set and coordinating Vase Builder Punch that I just can't get enough of!

I had my catalogue launch evening last Tuesday and this was the card that we made together as the make and take.  It is a great set for using with the **NEW** Stamparatus and it was great to be able to show everyone how straight forward it is to use!

Stamping platforms are great tools to have on hand especially for making multiples of cards, etc without having to try and line things up every time. You can view the video of the Stamparatus in action by clicking here.

Thanks for reading, have a great day!

SWIRLY BIRD IS MORE THAN SWIRLS AND BIRDS!

in , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 20, 2018
Hi all,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

It was lovely to have some family time this weekend and the timing was perfect for Father's Day on Sunday!  It's always nice to be asked to make cards for people especially when i'm given a bit of direction.  This Father's Day I was asked to make two cards for a friend's daughters to give to their Dad along the theme of boats. I don't have many boat-themed items so this one was a bit of a challenge but as always Stampin' Up! delivered!

The Swirly Bird Stamp Set is a really nice set and very versatile for making backgrounds and it has a boat builder set of stamps, perfect!  I also used the Layering Squares and Stitched Shapes ThinlitsThe letters come from the **NEW** Pick a Pennant Stamp Set to create the sentiment tiles.

As the girls are sisters I wanted the cards to be similar so I created the same design, just in a different colour scheme.  What do you think?

If you have a card you would like made, feel free to get in touch and I will do my best to create what you are after!

As always, if any of these products take your fancy, click the "SHOP NOW" button at the top of this page to place your order which will be delivered direct to your front door.

Hi all,

The Stampin' Up! catalogues aren't just full of fabulous stamp sets, inks, papers, tools and card, it is also full of samples and inspiration!  I have saved all my old catalogues and often use them when my crafting mojo has abandoned me!

Throughout the duration of this new catalogue, I shall be looking to CASE samples of work in the catalogue with different products to show you that you don't have to copy cards exactly to still get a great looking card or project!

For those of you that don't know, CASE means Copy and Selectively Edit.  You see this as a feature on many different blogs and challenges with card sketches.  You will be amazed how different peoples work can be with a simple starting off directive.

For this card I have used the sample of work shown on page 45 of the new 2018-2019 annual catalogue which showcases the **NEW Varied Vases Stamp Set and Vase Builder Punch Bundle**.

For this one, I have stuck to the card design really closely and have just changed the colour combination, embossing folder used, sentiment and ribbon.   What do you think?

Thanks for reading everyone, looking forward to this becoming a regular feature on my blog!

Have a great day!

HELLO THERE KANGAROO AND KOALA

in , , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 12, 2018
Hi all,

Thank you to those of you who read my post yesterday, and well done to those of you who spotted the mistake!  It was a Rhino on the card not an elephant!  I will be sending the card to the person who spotted the blunder ha!

My final card today in this product showcase and it is using the cute Kangaroo image from the **NEW Animal Outing Stamp Set**.  I think this one is great for a new baby card because of the adorable little Koala that the Kangaroo is carrying in her pouch!

This card I would say is a typical "me" style of card.  Not too much fuss and lots of white space!

I have used Thick Whisper White Cardstock for the cardbase.  Usual Whisper White is absoloutely fine but I find the thick works much better for card bases.

I have stamped the sentiment "Hello There" using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the bottom corner.  This sentiment comes from the **NEW Around The Corner Stamp Set** which is another freebie from the annual catalogue launch for demonstrators.

In the **NEW Love What You Do Stamp Set**, there is this lovely background stamp that is a great size for this style of card.  I have stamped it in Crumb Cake ink straight onto the cardbase for this one.  Using an Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad and an Aqua Painter, I have splashed some ink onto the cardbase.  This is a great technique for breaking up the white space.

I have stamped the Kangaroo image onto regular Whisper White cardstock, coloured in using Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers and cut out.  There are matching Framelits for this stamp set however I haven't yet purchased them as this was a FREE set demonstrators were given at the catalogue launch event in April.

Underneath the kangaroo, I have attached a Starburst Punched shape that has been cut from a Silver Foil Sheet and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. Between the Starburst shape and the Kangaroo I have added some Black Metallic Thread (retired) for a bit of texture.  To finish, I have added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the background.

What do you think?

Here are the 3 cards side by side....so many more options though and I can't wait to see samples of this across Pinterest as I'm sure it will be a popular set!

I'M LUCKY TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE YOU

in , , , , , , by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, June 11, 2018
Hi all,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.  I held my bi-monthly crafting get together on Saturday which was lots of fun and really productive for me.  I had been feeling a bit overwhelmed with things beforehand and so the day was really needed for my own sanity!  We really do have such a giggle and it always warms my hear to be around such lovely friends and enjoy the day crafting, chatting and eating mostly cake!  If you would like to come along, I will be announcing the date of the next get together soon.  Alternatively, we get together on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month between 6.30pm - 9pm.

The card that I am sharing with you today was one that I put together on Saturday, using the **NEW** Animal Outing Stamp SetThis is a Photpolymer stamp set that is hand-sketched animals and sentiments.  As demonstrators we were given this stamp set for FREE when we attended the recent national catalogue launch and I really think it is going to be popular for making new baby cards as the animals are really quite cute!  They're also great if you love a bit of colouring with Watercolour Pencils, Alcohol Markers or good just good old ink!  In good Stampin' Up! fashion, there are also matching dies that are available to buy!

I have started by stamping the elephant image across the card base.  I have used Basic Gray here (it is retired, however I haven't yet received my new colour ink pads).  I find gray is less harsh than black.

The selection of squares have been die cut using the Layering Squares Framelits and Stitched Shapes Framelits. For the main elephant I have stamped using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured using a selection of Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

For the sentiment, this comes from the **NEW**Love What You Do Stamp Set and I have stamped this in black ink and separately in Call Me Clover, cutting around the word "Friend" and attaching over the black friend. This has the been die cut out using a small plain circle die from the Layering Circles Framelits.  I have then cut a scalloped circlet from the same set in Basic Black cardstock.

To Finish, I have cut a selection of leaves from the Eclectic Layers Thinlit Dies and the Flourish Thinlits Dies in Call me Clover Cardstock, Basic Black Cardstock and Silver Foil Sheets

Thanks for reading today!  If this product is on your wish list, click shop now to order!

Have a great day.
